Mary Gargett brings a unique blend of elite athletic performance, movement education, and coaching expertise to the fitness industry. With over 17 years of experience as a professional circus artist, coach, and fitness professional, she specializes in helping people build strength, mobility, confidence, and long term movement quality through intentional, science based training.

Originally from Bellingham, Washington, Mary has spent her career training, performing, and coaching around the world. Her background spans personal training, HIIT coaching, flexibility and mobility development, strength and conditioning, group fitness instruction, corrective movement principles, and athletic performance training. She holds certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Certified Personal Trainer (NASM CPT) and Stretching & Flexibility Coach (NASM SFC), along with a Diploma in Circus Arts from SANCA, The School of Acrobatics and New Circus Arts.

Mary's professional circus career has taken her across the globe performing and coaching in high level productions, corporate events, theaters, festivals, and large scale entertainment environments. She has worked alongside internationally recognized organizations and performed for companies including Microsoft, Amazon, Expedia, Facebook, Google, and more. Her performance background includes aerial arts, partner acrobatics, hand balancing, hula hoop artistry, stilt performance, movement training, and strength development, giving her an exceptional understanding of body awareness, athleticism, coordination, resilience, and injury prevention.

Over the years, Mary has coached clients ranging from youth athletes to active adults and older populations, helping people from all backgrounds improve movement quality, build strength, increase endurance, and feel more capable in their everyday lives. Her coaching philosophy combines performance science with encouragement, accountability, and genuine connection. She believes fitness should challenge people while also empowering them to move better, feel stronger, and live fuller lives.

Her coaching style reflects lessons developed through years of professional performance and athletic training: discipline, consistency, adaptability, and attention to movement quality. Whether coaching HIIT classes, mobility work, strength training, or conditioning sessions, Mary creates an environment where clients feel supported, challenged, and empowered to push beyond what they thought was possible.

When coaching, Mary's energy is contagious. Her goal remains simple: help people build confidence through movement, discover what their bodies are capable of, and create sustainable habits that support a stronger and healthier life both inside and outside the gym.
